WITH I think it add a lot of interest to the quilt.

I'm a color fanatic. I would go with the triangle squares, plus it will add contrast. However, it's your quilt and you do what you want with it.

I vote without triangles but with one or two more solid borders using the fabric in the quilt. Like the blue or the green.
