What are you biggest changes in quilting this year?

This year I have joined several swaps and in doing these blocks I have learned so much. I'm not afraid to tackle any block and I have started designing my own blocks. I started a blog and I give my designs free to anyone that wants to get them. I mostly have cartooney type things, but I never had much confidence to step up and try more new things.
I look forward everyday just to get on the board and check out all the new news and other sites. All I can say is I am more grateful for this board to light a fire under me everyday!

Challenging myself with new patterns (to me) and getting more comfortable using my long arm machine. Just finished my first "Trip around the World". Glad I had already made 2 bargellos but it still proved to be a challenge. I traded the quilt for a new puppy. She is a border collie and we get her next week, her name is Sadie.
