I have to clean the room next to my sewing room becasue my cabinet maker is bringing my new sewing room cabinets to morrow afternoon. I have to clear his path becasue they are so big and will take a lot of room to turn the corners.
After it's all done I will post before and after pictures.

I finished piecing another Christmas present - table runner - for someone in my family. I have about 6 pieced now and am saving the sandwiching and quilting for after retirement (June 15th - YEAH) and relocating to the cabin in Michigan for the summer and fall. Today I start on embroidering 4th of July T-shirts for the grandbabies, and a 4th of July romper and diaper cover for my little grandgirl

I flew down to Nashville to visit my daughter in her new place. I'm in an airport on my way home now. We had a wonderful time.

Maybe some sewing when I get home today.

Sewing is on hold. Grandson (17) here from CO for 3 weeks. Parents & Granddaughter (11) coming on the 17th - all leaving on the 22nd. We will be getting together with the Idaho family (daughter, son-in-law, grandson, granddaughter and her husband) and having a great time visiting, day trips, weekend camping and doing a lot of photography. Then when the dust settles - I'll get back to my machine.

Are you using a pattern for the PH. I am making some for my DD,who is a cook in the Army in AF. She said it takes forever to req. anything like that and I have tons of fabric I can use. I hope they like them.

Which obviously doesn't take long! :) I have a small beach quilt that is quilted and needs to have the binding attached. Another quilt is sandwiched, ready for quilting and binding. Plus I have a casserole carrier I'm trying to figure out. It's so "simple" but I'm stuck at one point. There aren't enough pictures of each step. If I can't figure it out, will post pictures later and see if someone here can explain to me what I need to do.

And if I get all that done, then I have some purses I would like to start!

Hope you all have a terrific and productive weekend.

Heather
Your weekend must be longer than 2 days to get all that done. Good luck!

I'm working on a very simple quilt in red, white and blue; its to be a Quilt of Valor. Here's a link to the pattern. Its called "Diamonds". I figured out how to piece the blocks without using
folded square method the pattern wants, it wastes too much fabric.
