Well, half is gone, yesterday After A.M. chores, I planted the second 2/3`s of my garden. It`s a huge one. Then I mowed the lawn, it`s another huge one, we have a large lawn plus 2 orchards, and a green sitting area. Did chores, and got in at 7:30. P. M. To day ofcourse it was chores (horses, donkey, goats, chickens, rabbits) plus barn cats. Then watered flowers and garden, picked flowers for GD`s birthday party this noon,Checked my tillers for an early start to morrow. Gathered asparagus for my SIL wrapped presents. and now must get ready to go. This evening I`ll be tired! It was 85 degrees yesterday & should be today again, we can`t complain as it was a harsh winter and long cold wet spring.

Was trying to help DD move today but she took the quick route down the 3 flights of stairs so she is at hospital getting knee stitched up and xrayed and I am getting help to get the moving done and will take care of grandson until she is ready to come home then I will bring her home and pray that her luck changes soon. She has had quite a streak of bad luck lately. I'll sew tomorrow!

Sounds like everyone is having busy weekends. I worked in my sewing room yesterday. I finished 2 of the pet mat tops and sandwiched them. I made a pair of pillowcases and attached the binding to the front of the church quilt. Then I ran into quite a bit of trouble with 2 different sewing machines so haven't been back in to wrestle with them yet. I guess I'm taking today off from it and will deal with it tomorrow :) So needless to say, I didn't get near as much done as I planned. Guess what I'll be doing this week! :)

Hate to tell you this, but the one glorious day we had on Saturday in Eastern Oregon has now turned to torrential rain on Sunday. I think that Airwick from Roseburg has sent this to me. (not to worry; she loves me, I think.)

I'm trying to finish up a lap throw made from very high end upholstery fabrics (tapestries, silks, satins) that I'm making as a surprise 70th birthday gift for a favorite cousin.
I'm hand-delivering it to her on her birthday....in FLORIDA!
