I like Olfa frosted. They really are easier to see on all colors. Much more accurate cutting than with the black or yellow lines on others.

I have a 6" x 24" long Fiskars I bought as part of a set along with a cutting mat & rotary cutter many years ago. It's my favorite. I have a few O'Lippa squares, which are fine, but their marking lines are limiting.

Because they are so easily available for purchase, I have many, many Omnigrid, some green, most yellow. Omnigrid rulers just o.k.; I'd trade them all in a heartbeat for Fiskars like the one I have. I find my Omnigrid 24" square very useful.

What is the rate of exchange from Australian dollars to American dollars? They look very nice but also look quite expensive.

I have tried all kinds of rulers and am now trying to replace them with Creative Grids. I took a 2-day class from Harriet Hargrave on accurate piecing and she swears by the Creative Grid 2.5 x 12" ruler. I use that one all the time now...IMHO it's the best!!! I stopped using my awkward 24" ruler when Harriet taught us to fold the fabric in half top to bottom so your length of fabric is however long you need it, by only 11-12" instead of 22".
