I use my bedroom/sewing room and cut my fabrics on my bed with my cutting mat. Then I go to my kitchen counter and stand to sew my pieces. Actually, I rather like to stand and sew. It takes awaythe bending your back alot. Hi honey!

In my own room that faces our garden. I have tables and shelving (picture here: http://debzpicaday.blogspot.com/2011...26-of-365.html )

And in that room is a closet I filled with fabric ( picture here: http://debzpicaday.blogspot.com/2011...57-of-365.html )

It's on the south side of the house and gets lots of great sun in the winter.

We have no kids, so I use one of the bedrooms. Once I moved all the stuff in, I couldn't imagine where I had it all stashed before. Sorry to hear you'll be losing some space. :(

I have a spare room that I use for my sewing room/office. No kids at home and room to spare.

I love your quilting room, especially the book cases. What a great stash you have!

I have a spare bedroom set up as my sewing room. Though everyone else thinks it is a storage room. I cut/sew in there when I feel like listening to the radio or a cd. Since it is summer and that room gets the heat of the day I have been setting up a small table in the living room with my sewing machine so I don't feel confined in there. I put everything back in the sewing room when i'm done because I don't want the dogs or grandson to knock over the tabel machine, project and all.

I have a small room in the basement that I have been using. Now I have been blessed with 3 DGS in 2 years (for a total of 4)and have been told that if I want to have family holiday sleep overs I need room for the boys. Now I am trying to figure out what to do with my stash and machines. Sigh -- over the years I have carved space from our bedroom, sewed in some pretty small walkin closets and on the dining room table. This is my biggest challenge since being retired I spread to fill all available space and now it is not available.

I will figure out something since I love the jumble of the whole family here for the holidays.
