Why is yellow not a popular color for quilts?

I have several quilts that are either predominantly yellow or have yellow in them. I find it's a great color to use when used correctly. :D :D

I use a lot of yellow, and have made at least one quilt where it was the dominant color. I think it really wakes up some designs. I wouldn't say it has to be in all quilts, but it's not a color to be afraid to use.

I feel the same about yellow in quilts. I love yellow. But in quilts as in gardens, a little goes a long way.
