I've seen your completed quilt here on the QB and it is wonderful. Have you considered doing the whole quilt on the front of the package with an inset of the whole picture in the upper right hand corner? That way, an interested party can see everything of what you started with and everything of the finish. By chopping it up, some may think that is the way the finished product would be.

Good luck with publishing. We can say we knew you when.

Oh, I think I know what you mean! Cool idea! Don't know if the publisher I am thinking of using can do that, or how much extra it would add to the retail cost.

Another option, I had not thought of til you mentioned this - maybe a opaque cover with the quilt lines over the photograph? Lift the opaque cover to see only the quilting lines, and look at the bottom cover to see only the photo. Lay them together to see how the photo changes into the quilting lines!
I like this option - how cool would that be for a quick view - I would definitely purchase the book. Best wishes

    How is this?

some of you may recognize your comments, I will not really use your comments without your permission, this is just a test!

an opaque cover of the cutting quilt lines over the book cover with the photo

as you lift up the opaque cover, you can see just the lines

that then reveals just the photo

the back cover completes the story

It just keeps getting better and better. I vote for # 4 now.

Yeah, but could a publisher do that, and how much more will it cost? Hmmm... gotta check this out.

Your idea for no. 4 cover is the one I really like. No3 is a close second.
Good luck and hope it comes to Australia:)
