Unfortunately, finances dictate scrappy right now. My parents were both children of the depression era, so I was raised to "make it work" with what you have.

Usually a planner, but without purchase funds, now a scrappy. I'm liking it!

I want to be a scrapper, I have problems making things that aren't symmetrical, I hope making some scrap quilts will cure me of that.

Not a 'scrapper', no way, no desire to do a scrap quilt...ever. Don't like leaving art 'to chance' and like chaos even less. Prefer precision, organization and detail. Can you tell I was an accountant?!! :D

I started out only planned fabrics THEN I had scraps left over. I have seen gorgeous scrappy quilts and now I love them!!! Scrappy works very well in Irish Chains and pinwheels.

I'm a scrapper. I just toss everything in one box and pull out a piece and start sewing. I haven't tried planing a scrappy yet.

Both. I have a ton of scraps from previous projects and I can't seem to throw them away....hence the scrap quilt.
