Hmmm....your fabric needs to b 42" wide without the selvages. 10.5 x 4. You would get 4 across then cut three rows, which would only be 31.5.

I think the problem is that my fabric is 42 inches wide WITH selvages, which are almost an inch wide. So I'm only getting 3 across instead of 4.

I had the same problem with mine... Luckily I had purchased 1 & 1/4 yard of each. so now there is less left over for me.
    :(
...but I can not wait to see the variety we get back. :D

Mine are all cut. Need to iron them and make sure they are squared up just right. Am planning to get them in the mail on Monday 4/18.

    Hugs,

I'm learning what 30's fabric is.

Thanks for the ebay website - I like it.

I know you know how to count ;). I'm just writing it 'out loud' so I can make sure I"M doing it right...lol

I had the same experience with the count. Now I buy 1 1/4 yard. I want some fabric left over anyway and it only costs a couple of dollars for the extra.
I haven't cut mine yet, will do this afternoon.

There's so many options with the 10.5 size.. you can cut them for 5 in charms, or cut them for candy bars, or even as sunrise mention for 10 in layer cakes.. Thats why I love this size.. Sooooo many possibilities!!!
