They are beautiful. I hope I get one. I love all of them so far. I will post pictures soon. I have some cute mittens and Christmas lights almost finished. Here are some pictures of some of them.

I left them at 9.5" square but they can be cut down to 6.5" square or 9.5"x6.5" if wanted.

P.S. I sent a pm to join the swap just now. Thanks for having me.

Oh... i need to think about what to make for this one. I am in for 4 sets just have to figure out what.
I am thinking 2 sets in the red/green more traditional colors and 2 sets in the blue/white snowy colors.
and mine will be pieced blocks unless I get the nerve up to try appliques.

Thanks, Well, I am not ready for winter either. However, since it has been 104 degrees, a touch of coolness might feel good! Here is a sample of the Christmas lights. I ran out of blue background, so I have 3 finished and will have to find another background. I am using up my smaller scraps.

I think someone would enjoy the block more if the paper is removed. If you are using a small stitch length they should tear off without distortion. Tear into the seam it helps. I sometimes use a sewing pin to draw over the seam and it kind of scores it to help with the removal.

Have fun and enjoy yourself quiltpd.
