Judy - I'm glad you are keeping us all in sync. I worried about people dropping out when I saw the original link. But I'm pretty happy with our group. All in All... A very positive experience so far.
Yes, we have been lucky to have a good group. Not everyone has been so lucky.

Coincidence...maybe, maybe not. :)

My daughter has her 8th grade formal dance tomorrow and the theme is Mardi Gras. At the same time I am working on Lara's quilt, which is Mardi Gras themed.

She is really wanting to go all out Mardi Gras, got the purple dress and we had to make a mask for her to wear to the dance. A pic is below. I will try and upload pictures of her tomorrow in full dress.

I can't wait to see the pics. I bought a mask to make patterns for mardi gra quilt. It has been fun. I really love the colors.

Here is a picture from last night. I took a dozen pictures and they just didn't turn out good. My camera is to fancy for my skill level. :?

She did have pictures taken at the dance, so when I get them I will scan them in.

I am participating in the online Bloggers' Quilt Festival: Spring 2011. You can see my posting plus a link to the other listings (over 300 participants) at: http://homemadegonewild.blogspot.com...ring-2011.html

I know I love looking at everyone's finished quilts and thought you would too. Enjoy!

Anyone got any pics to post of what is happening? Just watched the last shuttle go off. Couldn't see it from my house today. Way to cloudy. So had to see it on TV. My mom is 86 and when she was a kid they counld'nt even comprehend rockets into space. And now today she sees the finale launch. In her life she has seen so much change. Remarkable. have a great one!!

Your daughter is beautiful, Amanda.

I have finished my row for Theresa's quilt. I don't know the name of the block, just saw a picture of it and liked it. The "jewel tone" fabrics are Fusions - I love them. And I promise, Theresa, the pink and light blue are not as bright as they look in this picture. Not sure what was going on with my camera - it doesn't usually distort colors like that.
