You all are really making me put on my thinking cap. For jewel tones I was thinking like emerald green, ruby red, yellow topaz, and now am I safe to say that these colors are maybe light purples and blues? Or is there a fabric called jewel tone? Thanks for any help you can give me. Those rows are awesome.

You're thinking along the right lines. The colors of my blocks are not true at all in the picture. The block on the right which looks blue is actually purple. The block that looks bright pink is actually a mauvy color. Don't base anything you're thinking on the picture I posted. Don't know what's up with that camera.

This is the first time I have ever participated in anything like this and I truly count my blessings everyday that I got paired with such a wonderful group of people.

It is awfully quiet around here. Hopefully everyone's busily working on their rows. Mailing date is only 2 weeks from now. I do know Lara was on vacation and is moving withing the next few weeks, so she's probably really busy if she's back from her trip.

I was very busy sewing this weekend. Finished a wall quilt I have been working on with 9 redwork hand embroidered blocks. Also, worked on the Mardi Gras Row. Should be completely done this weekend. :)

Here is my finished wall quilt for my sewing corner.
