Happy late Birthday Sunrise. Sounds like you had a great day.

Hard to believe we are already two days away from May. This year is moving too fast.

Question for you ladies, I inherited a Serger from my mother. After spending a hour trying to thread the thing. Finally success, I was wondering what kind of projects you might use your for, if you have one. My first project is sleep shorts.

lstew2212, I love my serger and once you start in you will love your's also. There are books you can buy but also you can go to utube an go to search and you will learn what you need.
I use mine to sew pillow cases, pillows, practically all edges. I made a flannel quilt and used the serger on that. Let us know what you make with your's.
All May birthday cards are in the mail. Hope all you gals like them!

Yes, sunrise, I have been to the Dr. twice and am on numerous medications, The respiratory stuff just wants to hang on! I went through this a couple years ago, too, when I got it. I had it for two months.

,QUOTE=sunrise450;8244906]Thank you all for my birthday wishes. I had a really fun day. I wasn't allowed to do anything in the house except what I wanted. I had the time to start another scarf, start another book in my kindle, surf the web, etc. DH took me out to dinner at our local steak house, Texas Road house.
Am going to mail out the birthday pkgs. today, will post a message when they are on the way.
Aborning, try putting you head over the hot steam from boiling water. I hope your seeing a doctor. Bronchitus can lead to phenomena.[/QUOTE]

All my candy packs for May have been sent! Yeah. Vacation here I come. Anyone know of a fabric store in Sevierville/Pigeon Forge, Tennessee area? Maybe Knoxville.
