This turned out so nice. Do you do your own quilting??
I have five quilts displayed at the month-long exhibit in the Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum in Sterling, Virginia. Tonight I attended an artist reception (a first for me!)
The mystery quilt that Barbara Kibler did for us last year is one that was juried in. Doesn't it look great? Thanks Barb...

Thanks Barb! Yes... I tried "quilting by check" with two different longarmers. Both were very highly recommended. The first one didn't return the quilt for 11 months. The second one still had it after 17 months. I told her that I wanted it back even if it wasn't finished. She asked for another week, and then completed it. It only measured 32" square!
I decided that I needed to learn to free-motion myself if I didn't want to limit myself to one hand-quilted item per year. It's really not my favorite part of the whole process, but at least they get finished quicker now!
