3 more bd pkgs arrived today. 1 was damaged according to them, but to me it looks like someone cut the sides ( too perfect for damage) . They did put it in a bag, and all is good. Wonder if someone was looking for cash?

Wmuteach, I haven't looked in it, though it feels ok. Even if a few are missing, I'm not gonna fret about it. Yes it looks deliberate, since the envelope itself is not really damaged.
getting exited to open them all and don't want to ruin the surprise so I've resorted to put them in a container so they are out of sight. LoL.

Wow gannyrosie, I've not had that happen to me yet. I'm sorry, I agree why would they think it was money? Doesn't feel like money to me. Lol!
I received the last envelope today from WMUTeach. It said 2nd envelope. I guess the other one really is lost in the mail. That's so sad... They lost 2 letters I sent last month to the doctor's office so maybe they were with your envelope. Hehehe... I always wonder where that mail goes. 🤔

Sorry WMUteach, I don't know where your second one has gone to either. Did you send them to MS instead of TX? Maybe one will get here (TX) Monday. Still plenty of time before my bday..... But not for yours! It's almost here!

So sorry ibex94. I am about ready to hand deliver or hire a migrating goose to deliver the package. Fingers crossed that it will arrive soon. Unlikely I used the incorrect address, I crossed it out on my list when I added the new address.
I am not teaching this fall and it doesn't look very promising for spring. I had problems with students reading e-mail also. Fortunately, I had some students multiple semesters and eventually they caught on that I posted a message to the class website every Monday and occasionally on Friday. On thing that helped was I would occasionally send a personal message to a student about something they wrote or a point they made in an online discussion. Helped. Most of my classes the past three years were online but I asked for Zoom time with the group too.
Back to National Jelly Roll Day quilt making.
