Have a beautiful Sunday everyone. In my little corner of the mitten, we have a glorious almost summer like day on the schedule. It smells like fall, the leaves are rapidly changing and some are falling. A good day for a walk or to throw open the windows to hear the geese pass by and the other birds conversing. The past two mornings have begun with a deep fog that creates all kinds of beauty as the sun slowly burns off the low hanging cloud to wake up the sleeping birds and scenery. Lovely simply lovely.

Love your poetic description of the first of October.

At lunch today, we sat on the dock of a river. The threatening rain clouds kept the sun at bay. It was a very pleasant 80’s with breeze and humidity. We agreed, we’re drip dry so it was ok if it rained.

watched the boats, people, dogs. Listened to bands. Good food. Good companions.

Good morning everyone. WMUTEACH, nice pic. I have been finishing the Halloween quilt. 1/2 the binding is sewn on, just need to pin and then sew the zig zag stitch. A today project. I will send a pic when it’s done. I also took a day virtual retreat a few weeks ago and we used 2.5” squares. I’m about 1/3 of the way completed. It was a mystery, I just wished I knew the final design when I started this project. I would have used a different jelly Roll & background. I had the pattern and it was on my wish list to do. Extremely easy to make. Oh well, another to cross off my wish list when it’s done.
