either the runner or the baby can come to my house!!! one or both!! i'm usually up at night so 2 am feedings are no bother! what a wonderful reason to be away! we want names, birthdate, wt, length, and periodic updates. ooooo. i want another one, too! i only have one, and of course, she's the best, but one more takes the pressure off her!!

Meet Camryn Marie, 7 lb 2 oz, now 20", I forgot how small they come, and how tiny their little butts are and those little "chicken legs". To bad they are like puppies -- so cute when little, then they grow up and turn on you (lol).

Tracibug, I'm glad you like it. I was a little worried it might be a little.....overpowering.

Nancia, don't loose yourself now! Do I need to start a spreadsheet for you? They don't call me the spreadsheet queen at work for nothing! I can organize all your swaps & sort them by deadline like I do mine, lol.

Nancy, what an adorable grandbaby! I miss that age, but Dusty never was that little. From what Dusty says I'll have to adopt someone, or another baby for myself, if I ever want another one of those. He says he doesn't want any. We'll see how that works out when he finds the right girl though. Seems like everybody's having babies, but none of them are anywhere near me!! My 2nd cousin's baby shower was Saturday. I feel so bad for her though, because nobody showed up except the organizers. I didn't even know about it until she posted on Facebook that nobody came though.

I spent a full hour cleaning up my sewing room. OMG, I didn't realize it was such a wreck! Now I gotta get back in there & make another mess!

DM I an on having another one next year, is Oklahoma to far? I will have four to send to whoever wants them, I'm sure Beau beau will need the most attention he won't take not being the baby anymore well. He gets jealous if my husband hugs me, he is a monster I have created.

I am happy to hear you got your runner tracibug but show us your pictures! my partner was Juanitabean and she let me know she received her runner yesterday so hopefully she will share her pictures here too.

Nancia you have this tropical runner this month and you side swapped I think with lovngrandma .. also you have dustysmommas swap not sure what the heck your sewing there other than that.. peow I cant tell you mind blank lol. (probably cause you didnt tell me).

Dustysmomma I had to laugh when you said you fell off the wagon.. $200.00 is more like a big leap of a very tall cliff you go all the way girl don't you.. no sissy tenderfoot stuff for this lady. lol.. bet the pile wasnt even that huge. Last time I bought 100.00 worth of fabric shoot it went into this depressingly small bag!

Hmm, the way things have been around here lately, that might just be far enough! Congratulations on the new baby, poor Beau Beau! I loved that age too!

I did really well actually. I got 30-some batik FQ's & a few non-batik ones, about 10 yards of batik fabric that was on clearance for $3 a yard, an Omnigrid 4 piece square ruler set for 40% off ($23 instead of $40), 3yds each of 2 more marbles to put up for our king size quilt I'll eventually get around to, 2 yards of another marble, 2 yards of white tone on tone for a runner (yes, I know that's extra, lol), a couple yds of patriotic that was $3/yd on clearance, 2 spools of Gutterman black thread, hem tape, quilting pins, and a king-size 80/20 batting. My 2 splurges were about 2-1/2 yards of pretty turqoise fabric with lighter shaded fireflies on it and the marble fabrics. It was actually 3 bags. It seems like I'm missing something though....

I took pictures, but I think they're still on the camera. I'll have to look. I sent her a few coasters to match the red & black maze throw I'd sent for the home decor swap too, but I didn't photograph them. They're just simple 5" squares sewn & turned, then sewn again.

ooooo, i have that red floral, too!! i recognise it because i love it, and i have a big sister print that goes with!
just got back from taking the ladies for a walk. last night had a run in with our neighbor. things got resolved, i think, and he turned out to be very nice. he will put up 3 fence pieces which should keep kitten in the yard. kitten is nuts about something in their yard and moves the fence aside and barks and barks and barks. won't come when she's called or whistled for, and , no joke, she is driving our poor neighbors insane. for now she's 'under house arrest" and only goes out on a leash with a chest halter when i take her. she's just being a dog, but i hate that she's bothering people. anyway, the guy is a contractor and will start with the three sections and then see if he can schedule the whole yard. it's funny, because we both want the white resin fencce. i don't even care which style! lol, as long as it keeps kitten in the yard, and other beasties out, i'm all for it. well, i'm going to try to get some sleep. i've got my schedule totally screwed up. tomorrow, between dog walks, i sew!!

Get out the musical instruments! come on everyone lets go! TA DA DA DA DA DAAA DA DA A duck must be somebodys mother... ta da da (no?) Wow Tracibug pat yourself on the back. that is grand! I am so happy to see these runners sent and received. We are widdling away at the senders! I love your bright colors there Tracibug in your new runner. I know how much you like batiks so I would say you scored. Glad to see JuanitaBean got her runner. I used some pretty bright colors and was thinking this is either a good thing or .. but in my little minds eye I kinda liked it. So much I made one for my little girl just as bright (she is 21 btw not so little now).

Nancia the due date for mailing last chance dont be late is May 1st. See oodles of time left for you to work on it.. oh crud I mean its due April 1st last year now your late so rush rush.. right up your alley late (see I can be accomidating to my swappers needs if you need late I can fake it with the best of them).

If you havent signed up for the new swap you might consider it. So many have signed up its a nice well rounded swap with lots of new players. come on over to the other side with me

DM no baby until next year, unless God has different plans. Going to quilt my runner today, I am really focusing on potty training Beau this week so lots of interruptions but he is doing great, not a single accident yesterday, and even went on his own some. I have plans for that pull up/diaper money, I am going to save it and buy me a accuquilt. With $20 a week going in the jar I should be able to purchase in six weeks or so.

Nancia it takes so little to suprise me so have at it. I am an easy suprised easy spooked person. walk quiety into the room behind me and i literally jump and scream. I get lost in thought I guess. easy joke to play on person. I always offer the threat of death if they EVER ..DO..THAT.. AGAIN!. never works they do it for fun. would kinda say they are bigger brats than me don't you think?

sikesjj I have to break something to you. Those babies.. um.. well based on actions sometimes there is a reaction? did momma teach this little story? God doesnt put more on your plate than you can handle BUT that my dear you own I wish you another year too.. let beau be the baby for a while longer. Then he can go to preschool and make pals and you can take care of baby. Unless you home school then you had best be asking God for a super sized platter for the amount of stuff you will be taking on.
