Aren't these pretty. My son came over to work on our stove pipes on the roof yesterday. His wife and my grand daughter came to and brought me some very pretty flowers. They are so colorful. Sorry my pictures don't show the dyed tips very well. Thought you all would like to see a picture.

Not nearly so spectacular as Mary's flowers, this is what I found in my front yard among the weeds!

Mary and MizMelly, your flowers are beautiful. I'm planning on planting some rose bushes. I heard last year to put a banana peel in the hole and they bloom better. Has anyone heard of this?

I love seeing people gardens, so if you have anymore flowers you'd like to share, I'm looking!

Pretty flowers. I was at the park yesterday and saw some blood root flowers. Love the aprons.

Lynnie, the banana peel adds potassium, which is good for the roses (as are coffee grounds, evidently).

Thanks all for the nice words about the botanical apron...it was fun to make. Karen

Beautiful flowers!
Here's a pic of our backyard plantings Lynnie. Should have taken it a week ago when more of the iris were in bloom!
