I am in for the magazines, I have about 5 mags that people have sent to me in swaps. Not to proud to say that I can not afford to buy them. I looked through a couple at the grocery store yesterday and at 6-10 dollars each no way on disability check can I can afford so I would take any!!!!
Hand dyed fabric is SO pretty count me in there too! Heck just send it all to me lol!!! Now I sound like a certain someone we all know.......

Off topic (sorry): We have been talking about dropping the fortune it costs to get one of the nice Food Savers (by nice, of course, I mean expensive because a huge price tag totally = quality!). Do you find yourself using it a lot? Was it worth the investment? Do you reuse your bags? How do you clean them? Dishwasher? (I don't do hand-washing).

Louise, I get 4 or 5 monthly mags between quilting & cross stitch. I would estimate that 85% of what I see doesn't even cause a blip on my "I want to do that!" radar. But the ones that do, I scan into a pdf. That way I don't feel bad about culling out my magazine library when the whim hits me. I've already got whatever I wanted from it; BUT I do usually look through one more time to make sure I haven't missed anything before I send them on to a new home.
If you don't have the actual Adobe program (NOT the free reader that you can download) all you do is scan the file as an image, embed it into a Microsoft Word doc and then under "save as" choose "pdf". It's really pretty handy and pdf's are a more compact & stable document format.

I have the FULL BLOWN Creative Suite 5.5 which I purchased
last year when I took a class for photoshop, illustrator, InDesign

I'm in again, just can't keep away from this! Whew! Two weeks of company, with more arriving this Sunday for a week...Then it seems we'll have a break for awhile .... don't misunderstand please, I love company but it is so very nice when we can get back to the routine of our day-to-day once house guests leave.

Hand dye fabric,i love all mags,and i love bubble wrap,can goods,,,,,,i just like it alllllll,,,,,also i was thinking,,,which is really harmful to my health,,,in my July,sp swap box,,i got,a,postcard,from mich,and thought it would be nice,to send,and,recieve,postcards fome diff states, and the post office sells them here, just a thought, i think it would be neet

I just wanted to mention that our Post Office workers are brutal with parcels. My July SP parcel had a hole in it, but luckily I don't think anything was lost. It may be an idea to pop things in a plastic zip-loc before putting in the mailing envelope. That way if they do manage to eviscerate it, your lovely gift will arrive in one piece.
