Oh boy, I saw this Seven Sisters quilt on Pinterest! http://qisforquilter.com/2012/11/mor...-quilt-blocks/ It looks like a serious challenge, but wouldn't it be beautiful made with 2.5" candies?

Love this, NZQ. It’d be beautiful but likely requires more patience than I have! You make it and I’ll cheer you on.

Thanks Barb for the list -- so helpful! And I was surprised to see no April Birthdays! Enjoy the weekend friends!

Mine will be going out tomorrow. Took much longer to cut them with numb fingers.

Thank you for the Birthday Swap list, Barbara, I had been waiting for it and discovered that I missed the post. Duh! on my part.

Have a wonderful March 1st Sunday everyone. After church I will return to my sewing room and start quilting one of the three pieces I layered yesterday at my guild work day. One is a baby quilt that is a variation of the "Traffic Jam" by Pat Sloan. I post a photo when it is finished. An easy way to use birthday "treats".

I also like to do scrappy Irish Chain quilts with my candies.

Thank you Barbara for the list. I have 32 cards filled with candy. I put the birth date on the corner for each one. The remainder will be surprise extra for 8 lucky ladies!
Making mini Dresdens. One set will be used to extend a quilt and go on a top border. Another set will be as a row of flowers for a farm quilt I am doing with a local group.
Candy Dresden Wall Hanging/Mug Rug
thank you Sheri

Thanks for mentioning the Mini-Dresden Travelinggramma. I had forgotten all about that. What a terrific border for a quilt.
