So much going on in this group for sure! Terriamn....all that sounds so good...can I come over to your house this weekend! Favorite cookie recipe?.....humm do I really have to pick...if its a cookie....its a favorite.

Ok Kat...here's my UFO Quilt.....fresh off the long arm! Just over a mere 420 inches of binder to turn down. ! I will make it by Christmas Eve at midnight...I will......! This quilt is so snowy and swirly and delicious....its almost edible! Sorry about the large photos!

Sorry....for some reason I cannot post photos tonight. Doing the same way but not happening! Check my profile pictures....will try something there.

AZKat.....Your quilt looks as inviting as mine! I love all the Christmas Blocks in both quilts! I don't know about you..but I am ready to do a little whining! Something short....like....oh..my back...my shoulders.....my neck...I think I have the UFO "finishing flu"!

Terriamn..love that blue snowflake fabric. Did you embroider the "Friends are Flakes"?

Do you both sew down you binder on the machine? I am not too good at it yet! Need to practice!

Time to check my to-do list for today!

Terriamn....I do not have a long arm....have friends with long arms (and long legs too ). I usually quilt on my machine, however this one was too big....ended up 107" x 107". I chose a digital pattern....edge to edge with one color thread throughout ...off-white front and back. The stitch pattern is Swirls and Snowflakes. It finished up really soft and snowy. I am really happy with the 200 thread count muslin. I ordered 5 yards @ 11.00 per yard - 120" wide backing. Bought backing online at Fabric Depot. I have just short of a yard left for Shams.

WEW! Upper back and neck pain. Fish pills are a natural anti-inflammatory as well as peppermint oil.

    Bee,

I see my block! Love your quilt AND the quilting! My quilt isn't as detailed as yours. I do my own quilting on a 1951 Singer 201. Haven't learned to free motion yet. I do sew my binding on the machine. My quilts are all made for "everyday" use and get beat up pretty bad by jump on, jump off puppies. I'm getting pretty good at patching them so they aren't noticed. I probably make about 3 a year for the bed so the faster I can get them done with the least expense is where I go.

Is anyone seeing the posted pics other than Bee's? My computer isn't displaying them. Going to try a test here and see what happens.

The web site isn't recognizing pngs or jpeg extentions. Telling me they are invalid.
