So sorry to hear about Linda...she was a hugh help in several swaps! I haven't been sewing much for awhile. Had to have a ultra sound, then stress test, then heart cath in Nov/Dec. everything ok except heart murmer that popped up all the sudden...feels weird but at least I know there is NO blockage. I did finish this block quilt and I think its by far my favorite. I love this fabric....Bee did you ever make the table runners with it? Hope you all had a good Christmas and the new year is starting off right!

Happy New Year! TG and Joan, lovely finishes! Joan, am sorry to hear of your worries but happily it all seems to be working out ok. Mom has had a heard murmur her whole life and it has never affected her adversely. I hope the same goes for you. Take care!

For those of you with some unfinished projects, there's a UFO board to help encourage finishes instead of just growing your unfinished piles. Anyone interested, click the link in my signature. Hope to see some of you over there!

Janice posted an email awhile back saying she needed a break and time to recover from her grief & the business of life. I wish her the best. So unless someone else wants to step up & take over, it looks like we're in for a break.

Ok, someone told me I was "kind of" being paged over here. It's been a couple of weeks since I checked in so I didn't know. As Muse mentioned, I had DEFINITELY burned out last fall. Burned out may be a kind word for what was going on with me. In any case, I'm much better and, omgosh, I can barely believe I'm going to say this, I've been missing the booms. Did I say that??? Afraid so.

So I've been considering the next boom for a while now. However, and this is a big HOWEVER, it will be totally dependent upon the results of another family member's medical results. Tests will be done late next week. If the results are not good, there's no way I will be able to take on another project. If things turn out well, then I'll probably be ready to run a boom if there is enough interest. You all know I'll do it even if the group is small but we've got to get at least 12 or 14 people to make it worth your expense in mailing. But really, until we get test results, this is just speculation on my part. I will let you know what I find out by the beginning of February most likely.

Janice
