Here is my block for Jaba & Juana. I made a fussycut block to hopefully show off the fabric. I think it worked great for Juana with her bright colors. Jaba, I hope you'll like it. Amazing how you can make the same block & they look so different.

Well ladies, no sewing going on here for the last couple of days & it might take a few more days to recover! 3 17 yr old grandsons and one 15 yr old. Conversation, laughter, food consumption, game playing, movie watching....a good time was had by all! Last night, Luke worked his shift at Taco Bell & I gave him a $20 and told him to bring us a treat. 48 Cinnabon delights! Warm from the fryer. My short order cooking skills were honed. Grilled cheese, cocoa & tons of toast, pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, apple crisp 2 gallons of chocolate milk. Two trees got trimmed by the tall ones. Even a five part not quite harmony version of "Sweet Caroline". Can you turn that down a couple of clicks was my constant phrase, only because Gpa was sleeping. They left @ 5pm today. I was in bed before 6! It was very good!
My DIL said she heard someone ate 24 Cinnabons. I said what happens at GramE's, stays at GramE's!

Sewing returns on Thurs. My job tomorrow is restocking the fridge & going to the pharmacy & restoring a bit of civility & overall order to the game room & the dining room. I also learned tonight that my great granddaughter's parents (grandson & wife) put a bid in on the house kitty corner from us!!!!! Oh would someone buy their house soon!

GramE, it sounds like someone had a good old-fashioned large time! Sounds like so much fun to me! May the house fairies come by soon.

Libster, our school is on a balanced system so fall break is 2 weeks. I figure a couple of days out of the house in those two weeks is a small kindness to my DILs. But also a blast for me! We missed one of our normal group because he has grown up and has been at Coast Guard recruit boot camp for two weeks now. My heart is beginning to accept the reality that at 18, to the world you are an adult, even though to a GramE you are still a beloved grandson.

Good morning, Topazians! My guests will be leaving today and life will return to normal so I can begin my last few blocks. I think I'll have time to start them after shipping for Opal next week.
