Hoping there's not a lot of damage to the residents or property. That strong though, there almost has to be some damage. Be safe as possible.

Kass - how does it affect the animals? Earthquakes and Tornadoes I stay clear of. I know when a hurricane is brewing the animals scurry to hide out.

Finished another three. Had to wait till hubby came home to get them loaded to computer. the last few weeks the phone has decided it doesn't want to send pictures to email all the time. Oh well
Kass - I love the white with your material and of course teal is a favorite so when I saw these two prints in my stash I was happy. Used a NY beauty pattern for this. It is round - but didn't sit nicely
Museandsew - Had so much fun with your fabric. This is a variation of Duck and Duckling.
QuilterMomma - Your birds were moving. I would fussy cut the corner and when I wasn't looking that darn bird would change positions!! I noticed there were a few other 9 patch and decided to add to the theme! I hope mine plays with well with the others.
Staying in for the weekend. We normally travel to Eastern Shore of MD where my Grandfathers family have had an annual crab feast for over 60 years. Just didn't feel up to it this year and with the weather. Don't like crowds and traffic and storms! And I do love sewing and being creative so this is where I would rather be!! Enjoy

TGM those are pretty, love my NY block w/ the teal and white. Our animals (dogs) slept right through it according to my husband (I was already at work).

Libster, we didn't get any damage, but I've heard there was quite a bit of structural damage especially closer to the epicenter.

I brought Molly's block w/ me to work to do a little hand embellishing. I might have to keep it locked in my car, the guys here are threatening to take it home w/ them.

Sure glad you are all safe and hope I major damage

Here in Minnesota we had some incredible news. The Jacob Wetterling case. Jacob, his brother and a friend were biking and were stopped at gunpoint by a man who kidnapped Jacob. This was 25 or so years ago. A man who was arrested for chilld pornography finally confessed and led authorities to his grave. DNA confirmed the identity today. My heart aches for the Wetterling family but thankfully they have closure

Moonwork - This is a grandmothers flower garden "block". I finished my quilt top and wanted to make one for your quilting friend. It always brings back the 60's to me - just like the granny square afghans!
So here is the issue - I am supposed to trim it to 12.5. If you want to use it on the back with the hexi look, I won't trim it. Its your call.
