Love the blocks, GFG is spectacular!!!! I like that star pattern with the severe points. Man, I can't wait to see these quilts with all their blocks. The 60's block is far out(haha), and the Mardi Gras quilt is so very pretty.

Hey, I have more fabric if you are that inspired! Glad it brought a smile to you also.

Today's a practice day for me. I've just made a pp practice block for one f8 but I'm not thrilled with the results. Plan B on that one. And am also working on my appliqué skills. I'm improving there so I'm pleased. Hope to be good enough to use it on a couple of blocks. Hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend.

Just finished Molly's block, I am thrilled w/ it, the guys (men ) at work were wanting to steal it. If he is a fan he will know exactly what this is, if he isn't you can tell him it is a space station. All the lines are hand embroidered. "That's no moon"

"It's a space station!"

Wow, great block I knew you'd do something like this. Way to go.

It is actually the Death Star from Star Wars, but I'm told that is a space station in that movie.

Kass - out of this world
Libster - great blocks
Here is what I have finished today
Francie - Whirling Star - I absolutely love this pattern and material
Moonwork - your final 12.5 block
Libster - found a dark gray and WOW to add to your fabric. The pattern is called Star Power from Leisure Arts 1000 quilt block book.
Joanlizbay - thank you for letting me put Conner's name on. I had so much fun.

Libster, great blocks!!!

Tgma, that star for Libster is amazing, and using that fish for the C in Conner was inspired!!!! I think it was you who put Hedge's name on his quilt block too, and he absolutely loves it, bet Conner does too.
