I finished LJDugas' ballerina block today. It was a battle to the death, nearly mine! If I do this block again it will not have a one piece center, I think w/o that whole center the block would have been easier. I am disappointed w/ how it turned out. It is a variation of wedding ring block. I didn't end up using the white background like I thought about, b/c I found that amazing grey ombe'd fabric, so I made the background pink.

No, I did not realize that Libster and I had such similar fabric. You were not to tell on us. LOL
Loving the work ladies. I have been slammed with customer quilts again. I just finished up a charity queen size quilt and now two rush orders. Why do I say yes is beyond me. Well, it is back to the grind stone again. Never worry, I get my blocks done on time.

Bonus block for you, Janice. Originally I had planned on one block but it was too busy, just looked very close to the uncut fabric so I switched gears. But I had already printed & cut the pieces, so I finished the first but I didn't know what to put in the center of the second until this little piece dropped on the floor while I was pawing through my stash looking for something else. Hope it works in your quilt.

You ladies are going to laugh at me, I think I barely have 4 blocks made, but I found fabric for boom 18 today. I haven't actually measured it yet, it was flat fold and cheap, like under $5 for the whole piece. Cotton w/ a nice weight. It is white and bright yellow check, I'm thinking citrus and grey and modern.

You are not alone, Kass. I have my Boom 18 fabric too. You know, some of us like to plan ahead. LOL
