Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been in here but things just haven't been going to good lately. I'm still trying to fight not being depressed & unable to walk, to put it mildly, it's not going to well mentally. Some days I feel like throwing in the towel but then I get over that and just keep trying to get through all this. It's getting hard to do but with Chuck helping me through each day, it's a bit easier to deal with.

I just got on to check my emails & saw that Janice has sent out the blocks so I will have Chuck looking for them to come in. I don't have any idea when I will be able to sew them together but at least I can pet them from time to time.
I don't have a computer again in my room, it burned up so I will try to visit here when I can.

I want to thank all of you for the prettiest blocks ever, they mean so much to me and I had such a great time making yours. Keep up the great work because I know in my heart that I will get better and I will be back as soon as I can.

Seasaw, I'm sorry that you are struggling with health issues and depression. I hope getting your package of blocks back will bring cheer to your day. You have been a great BOOMer... I am envious of so many of the blocks you made. That paper pieced ribbon heart that you shared with me is nothing short of wonderful... you are a very talented lady! I haven't summoned up the courage to try making that one yet, but I'm keeping it in a safe place for when I need something very, very special.

I hope you feel better very soon. Better days are ahead so don't give up and miss them!

There will be but I can't remember & can't find the post where Janice said when the sign up would be. Someone with a better memory will be back in the morning. I'm thinking January but I've thought wrong before!

We have a bit in common SewSaw. My computer has the blue screen of death and none of my techie kids or grandkids have time to investigate. Dear Hubby says it died of old age. But I have a tablet I can bring to bed with me. I spend a big bunch of time off my feet each day. It is depressing. Depending on someone else all the time. Hopefully you will get your mobility & strength back soon.

I love the pin wheel block you made for me. I can't wait to see it in person. And you are right, petting fabric is good therapy. Many prayers up for you.

Seesaw praying for you to feel better and are able to enjoy the Christmas season. Hard enough to be incapacitated any time of the year let alone the Chrsistmas season.

My little world is being rocked and I'm not handling it to well. Thinking of my BIL and that this is his last Christmas and for the first time ever two of the kids won't be able to come home for Christmas. Need to pull up my big girl undies and try to get my act together.

Good morning JLT. Yes, I hope to start up another Boom in early JAnuary. I want to let everyone get their packages and make sure all is well with them before getting the ok from the QB to post signups. I'd like to start signups early next week which will give us plenty of time to get our groups together in this busy month before we start the mailings.

Oh, Terri, hugs are winging their way to you. Knowing this is BIL's last Christmas, well, it sheds a whole new kind of light on the holidays, both precious and excruciating and a host of other emotions I cannot even name. This year I'm lucky to have one son here for Christmas but last year it was our first without either of them as well as the first without sis. I'd like to turn back the clock a few years...
