Did go out and look at the Eclipse, we only had a partial here but thought it was fascinating. Told dh we are going to expierence the next total eclipse.

have 4 boys great block. Getting the four corners to meet in the middle can sometimes be a real treat when paper piecing. Looks like you have it down.

Well I am home from work unexpectedly. I got bit by a spider (the er doc confirmed) I was having a histamine reaction and my entire leg is aching. Came home took benadryl and prednisone. I'm sure I'll pass out soon.

Sorry, Kass! The one time I got a spider bite I didn't know it. A small blister came up like a fire ant bite, but it slowly got bigger as I got sicker and sicker. I felt like I had the flu for about two weeks before I broke down and went to the dr. Seems so weird that an insect can bite or sting you and you need medicine to get over it. Same thing happened when I picked up a blister beetle in the house that I thought was dead. That sucker BIT ME on his way to the garbage can and my whole finger was swollen by the next day.

Kass I hope you are feeling better quickly.

Here are my last blocks.

Kass, your first block is a pinwheel, but it was 1/4 inch off both ways. I cut the square for the HST too small, such a bonehead move!! I thought I might be able to scant the seams and get away with it, but no such luck. So, I put a border on two sides. Since I wasn't really pleased with that one, I made another one. I hope you like it.

Spider bites hurt! I have a scar now on the back of my leg from a bite. Took a long time to heal. No fun. Take care of yourself.

Kass, I've also been bitten by a spider and have a nice scar on my leg. But to me, the things that hurt the most are fire ants! Those are nasty buggers!!!

MM, love all your blocks. Nice fussy cuts.

Love my blocks MM those pinks look great w/ the pinwheels and my print. I almost made Bstones birds into an attic window block too.

I elevated my leg w/ a cool pack took 100 mg benedryl and 40 mg prednisone, and put hydrocotisone cream on it. My lungs are feeling better today. The entire red area (about the size and shape of an egg) is hard today, I can feel some firmness about 1 inch away from the bright red spot. I had a histamine reaction, which has me confused to my knowledge I have never been bitten before, but you can only have a histamine reaction on the second (or more) exposure. I will keep an eye on it may yet have to go to the dr. Thanks for everyone's concern.

Ouch Kass, hope the Ned's help quickly. Years back I was having a minor surgery and they almost put it off because of three confirmed spider bites on my back. They finally decided since I wasn't reacting to them and they were 4 days old it was ok to put me under. The bites were much worse then the surgery. Luckily for me no scars.
