Wow, very ambitious, all that applique, my achilles heel! It is going to be stunning.

Beautiful pix, Boomers. I'm working on a scrappy quilt made mostly of 2 1/2" squares. I have the pix on my phone, not this laptop so I'll post a pic later. However, it might be that I took the squares quilt off the design board yesterday so that I might work on my Hummingbird Boom blocks. What, did I hear someone wonder if any are done? There might be. I know once you all get your packages I'm going to be slammed with work, I thought I might get a start. Is it just mirth or might it be the truth? If it's true, it's only cheating a little bit around the edges. (Shhh...don't tell the Hummingbirds...)

Kass: Love the name, Ringo's sister. Very nice!! The stripes are pretty cool also.
Jayne: Love that quilt. It will be very nice when finished.
Have4boys: I can't wait to see your quilt when finished. It looks like a fun project.

I recently finished a mug rug for the Jan swap group and now will work on Clue 6 of BHMQ. I would love to be finished with the top of the BH mystery before I get my F8's. Still unsure if I will be selected to be on the 2 month trail, jury selection still in progress. I have to report back Tuesday.

Another package arrived today. Those who haven’t shipped, please do so tomorrow. There’s no mail service on Monday and waiting until Tuesday may mean your blocks are late. Blocks are due in my hands on Thursday.

I've received F8s from those in bold type and those in italics have packages confirmed in transit.

Janice, I read that! lol
mjp, I liked your story. It's amazing what we do sometimes. :-)
hav4boys, I'm downloading that pattern too. I haven't done much applique, but I thought it would be a good project to to work on outside the home. A lot of quilters take along EPP projects when on the move-- but if it's straight seams, it seems I always prefer to use the sewing machine for that.

Cool fabric NanaK, it looks like a print we have had before, but in a grey scale?

Love seeing what everyone has been working on, while they wait. I got my On Ringo Lake quilt top done, just in time to clear the work table for my Boom blocks.

Also been FMQing this little baby panel quilt for a gift. The artist is Janet Wecker Frisch, one of my favorite illustrators.

SIDE SWAP?

Hello you crazy quails, I am moved and set up well enough to finally start sewing again.
I just sent PM's to those that said they would swap with me. Traveling Grandma, MJP, Kass, Mariposa, Terri and Libster. I'll be sending my F8's to you as soon as I get your addresses. If anyone else would like to sideswap with me just let me know.

Thanks,
