I had a wonderful Christmas with my family. Moving to Ohio surely made it worthwhile. My son is taking me to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra on the 30th as a combination Christmas and birthday present. I can't wait! I hope everyone has a healthy and happy New Year. See you next month for Boom 22!

OK, that's more than enough info for now. I'm looking forward to an enjoyable Boom 22 in early 2019. I hope many previous Boomers will want to join and we'll always welcome newbies to swap as well. Later, Boomers!
Had to skip Boom 21 but looking forward to 22!

A progress pic. The white squares are going to be black, just didn't want to put the 420 tiny triangles up on the design wall to just fall and get mixed up. This is a more complete idea of what the finished quilt will look like, think it is good for a little boy?

I think it will be cute for a little boy. He will like looking at all the little octagons. Nice work, Kass.

I love it Kass...excellent for a little boy, not so much for this quilter...it would kill my eyes to deal with all those tiny pieces!! You are amazing at designing!! Sew. I heard postage with up Jan 1..not sure if thats only mail to 55 cents or all postage on the lst. I still havent even thought about fabric yet. Still working on Boom 21 squares. Need to go to get more batting before I can go much further.
Terri, where do you get most of your embrodery designs? I got several from juju but havent used any of them yet.
The more I read about WSS and other stabelizers I get more insecure about it.. LOL I did make a patch of the 101 dalmation dog that came with the 770 and have made my name but I really want to try Monograms and things for towels etc..which model did you get???

I went ahead and sewed a few of the black triangles in place to get an idea.

It looks great, Kass!

I made that ByAnnie cosmetics travel bag for my DIL for Christmas, and now I just want to make bags! I've started another one I had the pattern for... a big "caddy". So excited. Love her patterns.

Kass I think this is a great baby blanket, think the child will be mesmerized by all the color action

Sewbiz what a sweet thing for your DIL to say.

My dd’s Loved their towels and they had a lively conversation on who’s was the best. My dgd had a fit when her mom actually used the towel. She thought it should have been kept as a decoration

Joan I purchase designs mostly from Ann the Gram, JuJu, urban Threads, Emblibrary and Embroidery Panda. Almost always on sale.

Kids have all gone home, I have the decorations off the tree and plan on spending the afternoon pressing and bagging fabric for one of the two booms. Colors will be purple and red orange

Terri, are these pics of your inspiration or the fabrics you are sending?
