Hope all goes well for your mom, Janice, and I hope you can get some rest while she's being cared for in the hospital.

Kass, the quilt is amazing. You are your own worst critic. The cubes are great and I really love the ones with little cubes within cubes. One day I might try this kind of optical illusion.

That's the biggest ric rac I have ever seen! Love how you used it.

Kass your cube quilt is amazing and fantastic.

Janice hope they can diagnose your Mom quickly and treat the problem. Do you think she will get agitated being in the hospital?

kass love your boom quilt, love the setting you chose.

Nasty storms, hope everyone is ok

Good Morning Boomers. Arrived back at the hospital a while ago to find mom much more herself and drinking lots of fluids. Amazing what 24 hours, 4 or 5 bags of fluid and multiple kinds of broad spectrum antibiotics can do! I walked in and was hugely surprised. There are still many questions about what’s going on and why but now she’s aware of most everything that happening. She can’t recall the last two days and I’d say that’s probably a blessing.

Kassaundra, I’m glad to see your boom quilt. Yesterday I read some old threads and wondered if you’d finished it.

Hope everyone one is surviving these terrible storms We’re free of them in GA for now but that won’t last long. Take care!

Good news about your mom... dehydration can cause a lot of problems.

No storms here... just heat and mugginess!

I will be off later today for a grandbaby visit. Can't wait to see my adorable little darling girls! I get the whole weekend with them...

Just checked in this morning. Sending good thoughts and prayers for your Mom Janice; glad she's doing better.

Kassaundra, you and your quilt are amazing! Just took a few steps backward on a king quilt I'm making for my adult nephew. Planned a Storm-at-Sea with a 40" Mariner's compass in the middle. My math skills are no more; he's getting a traditional SAS instead.

I'll be leaving Boom 22 feedback soon. Life has been good but challenging

Janice, having been on the wrong end of dehydration too many times myself, I can tell you how much benefit there is in that bag of fluid. Glad you were able to get her in and treated. Prayers for continued improvement.

Love both those quilts, Kass.

PamelaOry, saw someone using your fabric from the last boom in a Passacaglia. I thought, mmmm I recognize those eyes staring back at me!

AnnieQuilts, I had my protractor out trying to draw a 60* triangle. I understand your frustration. Had to call a grandson, but it’s still sitting here waiting. He’s working on getting into the Navy.
