It was fun to look through our Boom 20 blocks, when we were Hummingbirds and Quails. It hit me a little sad tho, to realize Joan was still with us then. What a shock her death was!

Here's a scrappy 'coins' lap quilt I just finished quilting tonight. I'm trying to get these knocked out before the Boom fabrics arrive.

I love this coin quilt, a great way to use up scraps. I love scrappy quilting.

Good morning, Night Owls! Your packages are at my front door waiting for pick-up later today.

PamelaOry, and all, one of the most frequent issues I receive negative emails about is when a small piece of an f8 is used in a block. I cannot say you must use such and such amount so I try to impress the need to use a significant amount of each f8, often saying "please make it the focus" and SBG is right, my main goal is to get people to use the F8. Blocks remain the choice of the maker however I will always encourage everyone to please use the f8s they are sent.

Kassaundra, the flower pix are beautiful We have a butterfly garden at Calloway Gardens in GA. One time in particular there was so much activity, it felt magical! Love the ties, and the bow tie is charming.

SBG, love the coin quilt. My first quilt was a coin quilt so they hold a special place in my heart.

Terriamn, sorry to hear you don't like your table runner. So disappointing when that happens. Bet you are looking forward to your Sister's visit.

Am having a trouble with the gallery today so I'm off to give it another try. I really want to get it working properly before a couple of dozen blocks are posted here per day. I'll be so far behind I worry I won't catch up!

Letsew this is the pattern we used to make 118 charity quilt tops at the retreat this summer. I have 12 tops I pieced from the available blocks to layer and quilt. Quilting second one now. It is such a versatile block have fun making your quilt.

today is incredibly beautiful so far, cool and low humidity.

Janet I am looking forward to my sister’s visit. She is slowly adjusting to being a widow.

Nice quilts ladies.

No Gary doesn't wear bow ties but we have a few friends who do, and the one I make them for mostly likes them bigger then he can generally buy off the shelf.

Terri, love that charity quilt. The red polka dotted fabric is so much fun. And your loopy quilting is adorable!

I wish we had some of Terri's weather here. Ours is more like Libster's... hot hot hot and humid. They say Monday's temp is supposed to be 110! That never happens here. Arizona, yes, but Mississippi, never. We are in the "dog days of summer", I guess, with several more weeks to go.

Terriamn, I completely missed this beauty in my haste earlier. Love it! The r/w polkadot is fun.

Sewbiz I finished quilting this charity quilt. Not as fancy of quilting as your great coin quilt. What a way to use up scraps.

Sorry picture isn’t very good. Mr. Sun would not cooperate with me

SBG and Terri, beautiful quilts!

Today I decided it was time to get warmed up making quilt blocks once again. This is a quilt block I made using the fabrics that are on their way to you.
