Question: when you quilt your tops, what is your usual stitch length? I’m going to start working with my unquilted tops and I’m not sure what is considered “normal” using a walking foot. I’m planning to stitch parallel lines more or less, not in the ditch. My inclination when working in the ditch is to take small stitches but I thinking longer would be better for parallel lines. All comments appreciated!

Well, so far my stitches aren’t great. Some are long, some tiny. I’m not the best at hulking around the quilt so it bogs down a bit. I am using an old top from a swap eons ago, a scrappy trip swap I think. It’s rough as most blocks were askew and off-sized. It’s a great one to practice on. If I get it done without major folds in the back, I’ll be content.

I was working on a block for Bibliostone sand realized that I Paper Pieced one section the wrong way. Would anybody be able to help me with a 7x7 piece of the camouflaged pink frogs. I would love to fix the block. Send me a PM, I will pay for postage.
