SBG, love the star in a star block you made for TG, it's always been a favorite of mine. TG, how cool you add anchor fabric to add for that block, it's beautiful!

Must be a "TG" day, I made a block for her too, called Union.

I love buying remnants from the fabric stores, The cooler the fabric the better. Glad you liked the block.

Beautiful block, Cheesehead. It will be perfect in my quilt.

All of today's blocks made me smile. Some great ideas and great skills in bringing them to life!

Tomorrow is donation day at my local quilting group. I was going to cut myself some slack as I'm still recuperating and surely they would all understand if I showed up without a quilt... but something urged me not to show up empty handed. So I did finish one lap quilt and now have that to bring.

The dragon quilt really has me stumped. All the fabrics I've seen have been scary and dark, so I'm still looking for some kind of cute dragon fabric. Some of the girls are road tripping to a fabric store after our meeting tomorrow. I might tag along and keep my eyes open for dragon fabric suitable for a 9 yo girl.

Here’s a Union Square block for Rebaquilts. The pic colors are way off. Might take a new one in the daytime. Anyway, the background is a pale blue like in your sample. The dark is a TOT red that matches the flowers. Hope you will like it.

Thanks, SBG. Just found that Cheese made a pretty Union Square block too for TG. Was thinking of doing another one for TG but I’d better come up with another choice. Time to hit the patterns! Went to a LQS today and couldn’t find anything dragon or critter related either, at least that was workable. Going to try another place tomorrow with a larger selection. If that doesn’t work, there’s a third shop another five miles up the same road. Somebody has to have cool fabric! Can always try ebay or Etsy, too. Your block for TG is terrific. Love the stars!

Cheese, I love your block for TG and your fabrics.

Lstew, neat idea for a gift wrapped block with that punch of color in the bow. Great block for duckling.

TG, all those anchors! Fun block. Enjoy your class tomorrow.

Logcabin, good idea for the spools fabric!

Have a pleasant weekend everyone.
