All2Pieces, I’m Just back from a walk with a friend who knows about my perfection (OCD?) streak. I told her I’m going to have to fix the top of the lighthouse block. She laughed. I only realized this morning how askew it is so I will fix it for you after I finish my remaining blocks.

Hope everyone has a pleasant weekend! It’s cool here and breezy so I hope to spend some time outside enjoying the weather. Great day for another walk with the pup. Have a good one!

WMUTeach - did you want Americana or Patriotic? I though Americana but I might have missed a post. I think my block could go either way - but can always change it.

I do enjoy getting double F8 s - it allows me to use more in one block where a favorite pattern needs it. And pushes me when it is a pattern not in my comfort zone. I must say that I modern is getting easier!!

On Long Island for the week - and already have been to a great Italian restaurant having Eggplant Rollitinni , and Chinese where my family all passes it around so we get variety! one week of eating all the things I can not get anywhere else in the country!

TG, back on September 13, WMUTeach said she was hoping for a “traditional Americana quilt”. You should be good to go with Americana.

Janice, I had to go back and look at that block again. I never noticed your error LOL. Lovely block- either way! Oh- I need to send my blocks early d/t my knee surgery coming up. What is the earliest I can send? I only have 3 more to go.

I didn't notice my mistake until after I posted the pic of the block. I kept looking at it and didn't see it. Funny how that happens! I'm happier now with it the way I intended it to look..
