Sue, DH said your envelope arrived yesterday. I’ll get it on Monday. Thank you.

Having a lovely time with my youngest and his DGF. About to head out to a LQS or two and an antique mall.

I'm going to be putting a quilt together soon, but I need to get more binding safety pins for the quilt and another I'm working on. Do you ladies have a certain kind you like?

I don't use pins at all with binding. I feed the binding by hand as I sew it onto the back of the quilt edge. Then I turn it to the front and topstitch, as close to the edge as I can.

Could you use clips?

I think I miswrote? I meant when you sandwich the quilt together with batting and a backing! Sorry, brain fart.

I lightly spray baste using 505 but I secure it further with quilting safety pins. Don’t know the brand.

Here is my last block... dragons for Eden (annaquilts). While I was at it, I decided to change Selah's block, as it was just too plain. So I turned that simple 9 patch into a bright pink star! Hope the little girls like their blocks.

(Janice, sorry about the change.)

Sorry, not help here. I spray baste. I found a product at JoAnn's that is in the craft area but is made to be used with a sewing machine. Use it for about 10 years now, I have pins but never use them.

I do use clips when turning my binding. I still hand stitch to the back. I enjoy the hand work. Silly me I guess.

Love your dragon block and the updated version of your critter block for Selah. I’ll add them in to the other pix on Monday. No problem with the change!
