Here are 3 for today. Two for Reba and one for Duckling.

I tried classic meets modern for you Reba... modern is so tough for me.

Duckling, I was thinking candy cane when I designed your block, but came out looking like a starlight peppermint candy. I guess that is a different shaped peppermint.

Thank you for the blocks, I love the classic meets modern, it is wonderful, reminds me of steampunk which is perfect for this fabric. I was lucky to have one large frog motif left and I too need to do some yoga, looks so zen. Hugs!

Hav4boys and Rebaquilts, lovely blocks! Hav, your pp’ing skills continue to impress. 😀

Still no symptoms. Yay!

Annaquilts, your package arrived in good shape. I haven’t begun opening them yet but will do so this weekend.

Have a great weekend!

In other news, I get to pick up my Lena Viking today, it’s been all tuned up and warranty is good for six months! I’m probably going to drop off my brother Serger or my brother machine for a yearly tune up too. I want to make sure these machines last a long time. I woke up early today because I sometimes get anxious and wake up and then end up staring at the wall. Anyways here’s my blocks!

great blocks, I would love to see the finished quilt.

So I came away with two big shots in my hip, and four new prescriptions to start. I hope they work fast!

She said I probably won't sleep tonight because one of the shots was a steroid, but I said, "Oh! I'll get some quilts finished." LOL.
Sewbiz, sorry to hear about this new round of illness, try to get plenty of rest and hope you feel better soon.

I have always leaned towards using a black boarder when working with batiks. To me it just makes the fabric pop more in the focus blocks, but we as quilter always seem to second guess our work. We are our own worse critics. You go with what your heart feels.

These are the two baby quilts I need to get finished before Thanksgiving. I just have to sandwich them and quilt. Put them with a bag of diapers and some burp clothes (I also make) and I have a great baby gift.
