GramE- I open my photos from my Photo program. Then I send the photo to my Paint program and resize them to 20% there. Be sure to save the reduced size pic and post that one after deleting the larger version. (Just ask me why I say that!)

Sewbiz- I love those 30s prints. I just discovered that I have almost nil juvenile prints in my stash after making masks for two of my great-grands to use starting to school.

Just popping in to say hi to everybody! I've got waaaay too much on my plate to even think about joining any swaps right now, but I'll be peeking in from time to time to see all the pretties. I had to have surgery back in February "thanks" to a hernia that developed because of a years-old laparoscopy procedure. The doctor acted like it would be a breeze, but I was miserable for about 2 weeks afterwards. Whew. Not an experience I care to repeat! I made it, though, and now that painful hernia is gone. (I just wish the hospital bills were gone! LOL!)

Most of my craft fairs have been cancelled due to COVID-19 (grrr!), but every since March, I've been making face masks. Well over 2,000 face masks so far, to be exact, and the demand is still going strong. It's been absolutely crazy. My fabric stash is all but depleted. (Darn. I must go shopping. )

Anyway, that's what I've been up to lately. Y'all have fun, and I can't wait to see all the lovely blocks!

Well, let’s start the day by seeing if this works. If it does, it’s a page out of the quiet book I made my great granddaughter.

Hey, it looks like a thumbnail! Not sure how I did it. But maybe I’ll try again.

Oh wow love all the fabrics being shown, can’t wait to see them in person

We have been living at the lake this summer. Hubby kept saying to go ahead and sew. Don’t think either Of us realized What a mess It would be in such a small area with both of us now here. I am still making masks like crazy. They are mandatory here and every time I think it will be ok to move onto another fun project another organization requests more. Struggling to find a pattern for my teacher friends, one they can breathe easy in and speak. Any suggestions?

Success breeds curiosity as to whether or not I can duplicate it. So here’s the quilt top I hand sewed during The quarantine. Yes, there are two shades of blue background. But it went much quicker that I thought but the quarantine provided much extra sewing time. It’s waiting on becoming a sandwich, then a quilt. 2 weddings and a new great grandson and a great granddaughter coming next month have put it on hold. But I’ve been doing a bit of practice with template quilting. I made a baby quilt, started another hand sewn wedding quilt (quarantine made them decide to visit the justice of the peace), and my quiet book. So my machine is cooling it’s heels for a bit.

Hey, twice in a row! Now I just need to figure out how to do two in the same post.
my apologies to those who already saw this on the thread I started to practice pictures. Must look for Boom fabric today, as I restore order to that secret sewing room!

Good morning, all. Wow! Beautiful fabrics are already popping up! I'd better get moving on the Gallery. Love the butterflies, Bugaroo and the 30's repros will be perfect for a child's quilt, SBG. Jaba, those autumn leaves and brights are very pretty. Libster, I love the red floral with the brown. It's a wonderful combo. Terriamn, working in a small space is tough but I hope the lake scenery makes up for some of it. Yay on the masks! Macybaby, there's still time to jump down from that fence. Moonrise, you'll be missed but I'm happy you've recuperated well from your surgery. 2000 plus masks? Wow. And GramE, you've done it! Congrats.

I just sent Janice an email - but realized I forgot to say I would like to join the 3 month group.

With football much limited this fall I will have some extra time on my hands. My first Boom was Boom 23 and it was great fun and a great opportunity to grow as a quilter.

I've loved all the fabrics shown so far! Beautiful!

Now to figure out what to use.....we are going on a road trip to visit family in Colorado, maybe I'll see a fun shop and get a new memory?

Moonrise, glad you are feeling better. I hadn't even thought about how the covid hysteria would impact the Fall craft fairs. Aren't most of those outside? So sorry for that loss of income, but think about how you can build your inventory for next year's craft fairs. You get a head's start on all the making.

IrishMom, I've got you down for the three month group. Woo hoo! We went to Colorado about a year ago, obviously pre-Covid, and had a wonderful time. The scenery was simply awe inspiring; I'd never seen anything like it. Guess you can tell it was my first visit. I certainly hope you enjoy your road trip. Be safe!
