Good things come to those who wait - Bah Humbug!! I want my package and I want it NOW!! {Stomp the feet, stomp the feet} I got some wonderful peppermint hot chocolate drink with one of my past packages - I'll bring that to drink with Segasal and Jaba amd Mrsaj11 and anyone else that wants to get together and throw snowballs at the mailmen - wait, maybe we shouldn't do that, he won't bring our packages. Oh, I know, we'll sit on Segasal's front porch while she's gond visiting (where is is - Chicago?) and he won't know our addresses and we'll still get our packages....

What's with the front porch? Segasal would let us in if we promise to lock up wouldn't she???? We'll promise to clean up and she won't even know we've been there.
Pretty table runner, reminds me of Hawaii

    Hi Adelia 'Dee Dee" Hartzog!

I got your package yesterday. My husband brought the box in and said "I don't know how this box made it here." It looks like the PO dropped kicked it from your house to mine and then crammed it in the mailbox. Since one corner was opened, I thought perhaps some things fell out. After I opened it, I was sure it was all there. What a great secret pal you are. I love surprises. You sent me stork scissors and a sissor fob! I lost my stork scissors years ago and always look at them but never have replaced them. SCORE! So many pretty fabrics that I will definitely use. A measuring tape that I have already used . An artist always needs paint brushes. A darling reindeer for my tree. Would you believe I am only using white and red ornaments? Sugar free candy for me and treats for my babies. Thank yu so much Dee Dee!

I received the nicest Swap Package from Knitette yesterday. It had the longest and most descriptive letter in it and so it makes me dream of visiting Scotland some day. Included in the package was a recipe book (some recipes need to be tested), different pamphlets of Scotland, a calendar, the prettiest hand dyed fabric, cotton and embroidery floss, Whiskey tea bags (hiccup), some shortbread to enjoy with it, and a book mark. What a wonderful package of goodies!!! Thank you, Knitette!!!

Oh my! Hello! I would never have guessed by your name -- red oak tree? -- you have a wonderful imagination. Well that makes three of us at least as CC is also on this board, and posts absolutely fabulous quilts for us all to drool over.

I love the anticipation, hoping my SP will like what I've sent her and looking forward to receiving my package. Some of the things I am making are little first aid kits (they look like the crochet hook holders that roll up) and car trash bags. I finished a couple of wall hangings, crochet placemats, scarves and boot cuffs. I also made a refashioned sweatshirt jacket for my Mom. If I have the time, I am making a skirt and a refashioned tshirt for daughter #2 and a refashioned shirt for daughter #3. But the mosts fun I had was making 2 rice packs for my son in law. I made the eye mask look like a superhero mask and the larger one I put his initial on with two lightening bolts. I hope to get pics taken and posted tomorrow. I have been having fun! Ho Ho Ho!!
Is there a pattern for those first aid kits? Sounds like the perfect thing to send the youth at church off to camp with. Also, is there a pattern for the eye mask rice bag? I've made the neck ones but not an eye one.

I just realized tonight I forgot to post that I received an awesome package from Nancyw last Friday. Work is very hectic right now and it was great to have her package to kick off the weekend. I had planned to take a pic Sat. but it ended up being a very busy day and I never got the pic taken I had the sense of mind to pm nancy. So I want to let you all know that I did receive my package and it has in it...large dove bar that lasted thru Sat. 3 fabrics a very colorful large print and 2 coordinates, a glass angel with pearly wings, a book Wicked Business by Janet Evnovich, some beer nuts, a box of green tea, several packs of ghirardelli double chocolate that you make with hot milk yummmm. I'll try to remember the picture tomorrow.
Verna hope you get your package tomorrow. Seems like that bench is pretty crowded, I'll bring over some warm cookies to go with the snowman soup. Speaking of which Segagal those snowmen are too cute, had to laugh got finished with the tute and you asked if there were any ?? and my thought was nice description but could we see a pic. and there you were with it.
Lovely packages too, they are all so different but all so much fun.
And it is nice to see you k. You are looking good, & hope some of the red tape is clearing up and things are going better for you.
