redstilettos I'm sorry to hear about your fire. As a child, our house burned twice and it was terrifying each time. I hope you didn't have much damage and I really hope you didn't loose any fabric!

First mouse is done! I have the sections all pieced for four more mice, just need to stitch them together, tear off the paper, and add the top and bottom pieces. Phew! The most complicated paper pieced blocks I've done...
After they all have the tops and bottoms, I'll square them up. Just want to make sure I'm fully awake when I do the last cuts.

    They will be 6 1/2 x 9 1/2.

What a darling mouse! Whoohoo! First block posted! I admire you paperpiecing. I am not much good at it yet.

I'm so sorry about your house fire, Red! Hopefully you didn't loose much to it!

Your mouse is darling! I love it. The eye piece is so incredibly small. Awesome job....

Thanks The mouse was fun, but I had to work my way from the back end (easier) to really get the hang of it. Crossing my fingers, but so far, no frog stitching has been required on any mice!

Redstilletos, so sorry to hear about your cottage I hope nothing was lost that is irreplaceable.

Cuppy asked if I could post photos of her blocks if she sent them to me. I absolutely adore these!

    The mice have multiplied!
I'll do a final trim-to-size right before I mail the blocks. I think cows will be my next project.

Spent the second part of my night working on a sheep and a donkey block. Couldn't find a donkey I liked (well, not one I could find a pattern for anyway), so I worked on drawing one up. I'll draw it up in excel next, to make sure proportions look ok.
