Though I committed to two sets, I had enough time I was going to do another set. I am so PO'd. They are not 12.5 . I rechecked my seams, as you can see on pics 2 & 3, they are matching except for the outsides. so I relooked at the blocks and it says finishes at 12. Quilters Cache, Nell's Star. I printed them the same way I printed the others. So now I have 4 blocks, which took me 2 days to put the pieces together that will measure somewhere around 12, making them a fiished 11.5 block.
So I give up, If someone wants them, I'll finish them and they can be divided up, but for me I have too many other things going on that I need to get to. I wanted to be done early and get them on their way cause I knew i had too many other things coming up. So let me know or let the lead know and i'll include them. Maybe you could border them. But for now I'll just get my other 2 sets in the mail.

Gannyrosie, go ahead and add them to the package and I will add some borders to them and use them if that is Ok with you and everyone else, I can share them also.

Do you need my info to mail or do you still have it from the other one.

So, I'm over my rant and disgust. I looked at all those pieces and said forget it. I decided I was not going to let this block get the best of me and i was going to conquer it if it killed me. ( must be a libra thing- or my MDD or the fact what I had planned for today was a wash due to bad weather) So I went back to site, which wasn't quilters cache but generation quilts and I printed another pattern at 100% ( which is no scale on my printer). Then I printed at 101%, and then at 102%. Well low and behold 102% gave me the right dimensions. So I did a test one and low and behold I have a 12.5 inch block. Changed the fabric, for I didn't want to be jinked. Hope you like it. Armylady I'm not going to fool with the other ones, the pieces are tucked away on the shelf. If I can get one where the points won't be chopped off by adding a border I'll send you one. Mary (aka Gannyrosie

Well done grannyrosie, persistence worked out. Congrats!!! Love the block, hope I get one.
Arrived back in Wyoming and am freezing, miss the Florida sunshine and our swimming pool. We have definitely decided not to come to our other home so early.....this yard and property can just wait a tad longer.

Jaba, it stressed me out that I put so many hours into it, so since it's been horrible rain all day and the French Quarter fest was cancelled due to sever weather is why I gave it another go. . I am going to redo that seam which didn't match up too well, but I love the block. Hope to get to French quarter fest tomorrow. Florida sounds great about now, living in new Orleans we're not used to all this chilly weather this long. Then again, when the heat feels like 115 , its unbearable and we pray for chilly weather. Go figure.
I hope you get one too, its a cool block. I'm not removing the papers since it could stretcht out of place.

loving all the blocks so far. I hope to get to some more of mine today.

I have to hem some pants first, not my favorite thing to do. I like to sew for fun, not because I have too.
