Ok now, calm down. They will be here. I am sure if Mariposa gets all of our blocks ahead of time, she will get them sorted and back to us sooner. Just calm down. While you are waiting, you should do some corner stones for your borders on the quilt to have those ready. I am sure you have some other projects that need finished up as well. LOL

i have about 30 blocks at home right now, waiting for the reast of the flock to join in, i don't know how big thei "baby" is gonna be. maybe if i'm lucky, i can swap blocks for someone to quilt the quilt for me. i always hand quilt ( so far over 350). but my hands are getting old now. sooooooo.... if anyone one wants to swap chickens for machine quilting, let me know. my head is running crazy with ideas for more chickens. i think this is a sickness now. chicken px, like quilt pox?????
i thought being a fabricholic was bad enough, but now this chicken disease. i just can't stop, and i'm up with new ideas every day. what to do, what to do.

Well, you could make your quilt double sided! Make some pillows, a quillow, bags.....they would make great gifts, or sales. I'm addicted to chickens too, but problem is, I have the real things~!

Would be glad to swap with ya. I only do machine quilting though. I have been working on one hand project for seven years and machined at least 75 or more. We need to talk here.

We just might "need" to make a flock of chicken quilts for ourselves! ;)
