many thanks to all of you for your offer for sending me some chicks. But please do not at this time!!!
I didn't give up the hope. The longest time an envelope took - it was 2 months and 4 days! The blocks were send out of the end of april or beginning of may and so I hope and hope and hope..... it's passing 6 weeks now.
I will go to holiday next week and hope the envi will be arrived when I come back from France. My birthday is in august and my only wish is, that I can hold the blocks in my hands then :D

Veronika, so very sorry about your package! I too will be happy to send you a block or two if needed! Hopefully the package will arrive safe and sound...I sent something to a gal in Canada once and it took 3 months for it to get to her...got in their "holding" place for quite a while!

Put me on the list to make a chickie block if they don't show up. Sorry they are taking an extended vacation holiday before settling in.

Maybe they were cooped up soooooo long they think it was them that needed the break.

Here are some photos of Lynnie's quilt quilted. Had to make my own pantograph for it and thought this was the best thing to keep our chickies contained seeing how they do not know how to find their way home, party all night long, and just do not want to listen to us. They did get a bit upset that they were put in a fence, but I told them to behave to many times. Surely they did try to cut the fence a couple of times, but I mended it right away. They have minds like the hens on Chicken Run, the movie. They must have noticed the fried chicken and chicken soup and new they were going to be cooked if they did not behave. Oh freedom, how we cherish it.

That came out great I will also send some extra chicks if needed I would volunteer to let them be shipped from here but when I sent her fabric it also took the long way because we didn't think she was going together it.
