Well, if we are an uneven amount of swappers, I'd be happy to do 2 swaps (as long as you don't assign me some really hard-to-make wish list items!!).

Jaba, up to you. I think most everyone is here. Mostly wanted to be sure you didn't post it here by accident, lol.

We're still at 11, not counting me. Send out the carrier pigeons!

here birdie birdie! come to new signers! that a birdie! go flock out in masses bring in a few more so poor Kelly doesnt take on two.. I need her for MY new swap with Anastasia and jabas help the table runner summer fun swap. it isnt up yet still waiting Patrice's ok.. guess that takes a bit of time maybe by tonight I know it was submitted on Friday so we wait.. argh pirates there goes my patience again. fling out the window.

I did one tablerunner today now to start cutting the next one.. I only did the top but will quilt it with runner one tomorrow and then bind so I can take two to dialysis for sewing on Tues. I have a system here.. I wont bind at home, cat hair and all everyone wants to sit with me! lay with me! get hair on stuff that is a NOT happening thing so hand stitching done out of the house safely without hair yes yes you can thank me later. I do think of you guys you know.. its just by rote.

I went bold and bright on this one, fancy block in the center even and now think I will go.. simplier or perhaps not simplier just easier for me.. maybe crazy quilt its all novelty fun fabrics so not traditional will work. one will be for my partner in the tropical swap and one for my girly who is 21. she wants a project a month. Thank you heaven its only through July I have to do this. so thinking cinco de mayo for the may theme.. margaritas and drunk birds, surf boards an well happy happy tropical stuff.. both are happy happy. wonder what my partner likes? only Jaba was jumping for the pastel runner..tropical but softly so.

I hope those newbie signers put their fun fabrics too so if they want say yellow for their dining room they say I love Lemons! and I love dots and I love stripes something that gives the person playing with them a grand idea. this is secret again right? put it all down, go overload yellow.. bright yellow pastel yellow? orange yellow? lemon yellow be specific so you arent disappointed in the end!

ok are we THERE YET??? sorta?? almost?? good idea! dont groan! start sorting us by who signed up just get started on your swappy list! then your mostly done on end day! oh yeah good idea I am dancing in the street she is working on it right now loves my idea! (ok she doesnt go with me maybe she will listen).. la la laaa la la la sign me up sign them up with me too! la la la.. dancing here.. sign them up, sign me up with them too!

LADIES and GENTLEMEN: THIS IS FUN FOR A GOOD A TIME PM Dustysmomma and you too can participate in a grand simple yet fun experience.. what the heck its only time. we all have it just have to allocate it correctly

LOL, I read your last paragraph and I couldn't help but think of "for a good time call..." sprawled on a bathroom wall.

I can't group til I know how many I got girl. Not sorting by order signed up. Now that I told you my system for last time, I gotta swap it up, right?

man', i can't wait to get started !! everyone knows i'm slow and take extra time! i would rather not make any more table runners for a little while ( i know, i'm in anastasia's swap, i think). but i will make whatever my partner would like. i am having a brain freeze on mug rug hugs at the moment. i slept all day so i'll be quilting cindi's quilt tonight, and probably bind it tomorrow night. gotsta get that done!!! big priority!

Dustysmomma like I remember crud? are you kidding me? I have zip short term memory but if that was your system why switch it up? for me? lol.. I think I reread these swaps over and over and omg its new again lol how did I miss THAT? that is me. you get what you get. I write things down a lot. I am thankful for writing things down. this is my system for memory you have these things to do.. by when.. or I go back and check recheck so much easier. your system I dont care about I just want MY PARTNER lol... shush up brat. Ok.

I found this pretty red/yellow/bright green fabric set I bought about 3 yrds worth.. very pretty bright summery little flowers but modern looking too? moda like fabrics I guess. would make some cute stuff... or that other stuff. that would be fun too.. lots of stuff needing places to go. partner where are you??????

I would like to play but as I stated earlier - I don't have a clue what I would wish for; my want list is full - never thought I would ever say something like that. I'll think about it a few more days; I sure had fun the first time around. Our gardening season will soon start and will take up a lot of my free time; I still need to build a fence to go around the veggie patch to keep the rabbits and Mr. Beasley out. After the winter we've had the back yard is a mess thanks to Beasley - it's looking more and more like a pasture all the time. I like working outside in the yard so quilting usually takes a back seat once the weather warms up. I've got to finish the binding on Tropical Splendor and get that in the mail this week. Oofda - decisions!

but dabbler you can request say a dinning room item, place mats or say a table runner. then gift it to someone you love if your house is full of everything you need. I need 'nothing' also yet sometimes its wonderful to have a variety of the things you love. And pot holders omg I am so thankful for receiving pot holders from a few members. if you saw my pot holders .. they worked but barely and now I have REAL pot holders now. they are the greatest. And placemats adorable .. and runners I switch them as often as I can.. hubby is sold on a spiral one done by Jaba he likes the shape the deer camo colors I have to sneak another one in every so often to fit the holiday but go right back to his happy runner I put them on the side board. Oh what about welcome sign dabbler or a seasonal wall hanging. lots of things you can ask for. My daughter has her kibitz in oh oh ask for.. I am making a tropical runner for my swap now she wants one too.. so I am making ANOTHER one.. you may not need something but someone you love might enjoy it.

SIGN UP its a good swap, a nice way to spend your time, a feel good experience and well push your creativity. My sis by the way dabbler is a master gardner and when she is not taking a chem class she is outside working hard to keep all critters from eating her good work. she savesher poinsettas after christmas puts them in boxs in her garage keeps them to start again next year and does like a bang up job getting many years out of those things. me? oh a plant/ how many weeks will this one live? not long that is for sure. I gave up. I plant outside its feeding the deer or other little critters. not worth it.

My boyfriend asked me last night if our walls were going to be full of quilts now that I was doing swaps. I told him maybe, and if we like some less than others, we always have the option to gift them. He said OK, as long as you're happy, and walked away.

I was thinking that since you're gardening, that a garden apron or tote would be nice. Heck, even something for the car. I can make a killer trash bag!
