By the way, in case you're wondering, the SP chit chat thread is gone, gone, gone. Patrice said I posted it in the Pictures section. Did I? I didn't think so, but who knows. Anyway, she said she would have moved it to my blog, but for some reason she didn't or couldn't or whatever, so she said I should start a new one on my blog and invite people there. Well, I don't really feel like doing that so if someone else wants to, let me know and I'll visit.
No Krystyna, you posted in the right section, I went there once because I forgot to bookmark it. But I see it is gone now for sure. I don't see what was wrong with it being in the general chit chat to begin with????

It's a dreary grey day here so I'm making it brighter by continuing to work on my strip bucket. I pulled out all the red ones to make something special for my February pal.

Good Morning Everyone! I LOVE this swap and hope that Lori has the emotional strength within her to keep it going as she does a remarkable job organizing this swap for all of us and only asks that we do our part to see that our partners receive a nice package each month and to keep her updated with the status of our packages. I personally enjoy the daily updates and discussions along with seeing everyones packages and projects. I also feel it is important to be here to support our quilting board friends during difficult times and to be able to celebrate the joyful times in our lives.
Thank you Lori! You are appreciated!!!

Do you really keep your strips in separate containers by color? I just throw them all in one box! LOL

just a few thoughts.......as for the general chit chat...try keeping it short and sweet. Regifiting:I think this is common sense. Something I have more than 1of....yes. Something I think you might need more than me .....yes. Something homemade with me in mind...no. Just saying....it is a lot for Lori to go through and we don't really need all this bantering. What if Lori decides she is fed up? So....short and sweet and common sense. Peace-out. Peggy

No, no, no! Last year I went to a tag sale at a fabric designer's home. Among other things I came home with several HUGE tubs of strips. Some were wider bias cut strips that she was using to make baskets and there were tons of others some as narrow as 1". I pulled out an arm load a while ago to make a string quilt for my living room. And had a bucket load still in my mess of a studio, so over the weekend I started sewing them together. The reds just didn't seem to go with the rest of it, so I'm putting them together separately. What will it end up being? I don't know!
