some hints for my SP, and I have to say I laughed when I read them
The entire Encyclopedia Britannica is banned in Blank because it contains a formula for making beer at home.
If you want to walk around barefoot you will first need to get a special $5 permit.
That is all I have to say. LOL

Hints for my Partner:
A post office has been in operation since 1817
Town was platted in 1816
Town was named after the son of NC governor
Town covers an area of 3.75 Sq miles
I have not had this person for a partner before so I am having fun putting together her package.

Okay, I'm thinking Army isn't my pal this month either, as my town was not named after a NC governor.
My husband would have a fit if beer was ever outlawed.
What is something you forgot or should have mentioned on your profile list that would help your secret pal out? Or something you think others might enjoy?

I trudged to the quilting shop today for SP in the 'beast from the east' - and the worst snow/cold spell in U.K. For 30 years but I think it was worth it

RJ: we in the US have read about your "beast from the east" and it looks brutal. The fact you went out to take care of quilting shopping shows your dedication and addiction to the hobby. We love people like you!
It never dawned on me that notions would mean something different in other areas. I'm glad you figured it out! Do you call them accessories, or is there another word to lump them all together?
I have friends in Manchester and Scheffield (not sure if that is spelled correctly), and we have often times had good laughs over English-to-English translations
