Ok ladies &(gents, if any), the time is nigh, I will be assigning names later tomorrow. I have not heard from: 'dacjjco522', 'HilaryK8', 'I go to the Sea to Breathe', (which posted on here and PM'd that wanted to join), and previouos swappers, Ssnare, Jenniky or Mrs Shak. I'd like to hear asap...Thanks, and HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Hi all new and old. I will be joining again and hoping that 2015 will be a good year for my health. I had my surgery on my back done by the laser spine inst. And they did a wonderful job, went in there with awful pain after 2 hour surgery came out pain free, except for a little sore from surgery. I feel almost 100% better. So now I feel like sewing again.

So with that my colors are going to be yellow, black with a white background. Any block except for the snowball don't care for that one.

And I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year and Great Health!

I just posted the swapper list under Community, Groups, Monthly Quilting Bee, then scroll down under pictures and you will find the list. If you have any problems, don't hesitate to let me know. Hope all are ready to go. Glad to have everyone back.

I have contacted my special New Year partner for January 2015 (Lv2sew2011). I look forward to making her a special quilt block, and getting to chat some with her. I just realized too Donna after sending a pm to you that you have already posted on here what you would like. That gives me a good start too.

Thank you Jean (oksewnsew) for hosting all of us another year. That always makes for a better year.

Just sent my partner a PM. I've forgotten her theme and cannot locate it in the thread. Is it written somewhere? I thought I'd seen a list once. Thanks!

Hi Sauki1, I haven't updated the list, as some have changed. It's up to each to let each other know what they're wanting. I'm not sure if Betty has changed her theme or not, but it was 'anything'...so might wait til you hear from her.

Swappers, I have a wee bit of a problem (which happens). I paired a couple together that one is not able to do the block that was suggested. She's written me to see if someone else would be able to swap with them. Terriamn needs a new partner and Coconuts is the other swapper. IF you will please post on here that you can swap with each one, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance...

    Hi all,
My partner, Joyce Rowell, and I have completed our swap blocks and they are in the mail today to each other.

I have her permission to post a picture of the block I created for her. She requested any blue and yellow block. It was with great trepidation I shared the yellow fabric I used for her block. Several years ago my husband presented me with a very heavy, robe size box at Christmas; it was filled with to overstuffed with fat quarters that he hand picked and the yellow fabric was part of that gift!

I hope the block meets your muster, Joyce.

Whigrose that is a very pretty block you made. I am to make one with a white backgrown, and then black and yellow. The dark with the yellow in your block made me think of that.

I thought before I go to working on my quilt block I'd shout out that tomorrow is suppose to 27 degrees. Celebrate, celebrate by leaving the house and going to my grandsons distrct wrestling tournament. I hope it doesn't backfire. It's a 2 hr. drive so when it's 10-20 blow I don't like being out on the hi way. Mu hubby doesn't go because of his breathing. Golly sakes I just thought about Walmart being open all night. I just may have to detour into Lincoln and look over fabric, it would only be 8 mi. out of the way. Can't we always find someway to buy fabric? Everyone have a blessed weekend. Name: untitled.png

I was wondering if I could request a hand with a quilt I'm making and sorely need help with. I could mail pattern and fabric to whoever.

I have received my wonderful red and white log cabin block from Joyce Rowell.

She should have received hers a few days ago.

Thank you Joyce for being my swappie this month.
