She sent a wonderful package. I thank her. I will try to take a picture and see what happens. I lost my job also. So, I was very happy to get my package in the mail.
I will try to help you with this one. I had trouble with that and was very frustrated. Go to the thread that you want to check on. At the top of your screen find the top tan bar. Follow toward the right. You will find "View first unread". Click on that and you will be taken exactly to where you left off. I agree, this is frustrating. However, new things always have a learning curve and I'm trying to get the hang of things. I understand what people are saying. It doesn't look like the familiar, homey place we once knew. It's like if your parents move. When you "go home", it's not home anymore. It sometimes takes a while to get used to it. I just pray that people give it a chance.

This is the program I downloaded. It was free.It works great. Maybe it will work for some of you.Once it was on my computer I could make my pictures smaller. I make mine at medium size with this program.I also wish the format hadn't been changed. I just lucked out on figuring how to redo the posting on here.Hope this works for someone. It's horrible when you can't post pictures and very frustrating. This was posted by Quilty-Louise. If it works for you it's her to thank.Mary

There is a download you can get that will make resizing your
pictures MUCH easier. I have been using it for YEARS (or
since it came out for Windows XP).

It is really easy to use. After you download and install all
you have to do is RIGHT click on a picture and select the
"Resize Pictures" you will get a pop up window that will let
you select from one of THREE options OR you can even do
a custom resize. You can even select if you want it to resize
the original picture or make a resized copy.

Here is the LINK for downloading the program. ONLY download
IF you have Windows Vista or 7. If you are still using Windows XP
you will need to get the older version.

Here is the link for the XP version of the picture resizer
Good luck and I HOPE this may help some (or all) of you who
seem to be having troubles with resizing.

I would like to know if this helps anyone.

Ok I'll try this one.

Jaz, what's going on and how can we help? Am assuming your settings are correct so have you tried to re size your pic yet? Keep re sizing it until it posts. When it's small enough and acceptable by the boards program, it will post in here.
