I also sure hope there's a DEC. swap...been collecting and making STUFF .... Hope everyone has a HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Any of you folks out there plugging away at your education/re-training/degee... hang in there. I went back to college at 30 or so nad it seemed to take forever, But did it for me. Finidhed in 2000 and had the best time at graduation....I now work out of my home only part time, and help my hubby in his business. Never a dull moment arond here! Safe travels also, over the Holiday Wkend.

What does that mean for me? well it means that come January 17 I will
be back in school and will have very little time for sewing, what with having
homework to do. Thankfully though my 2 classes are going to be online
so that will make trying to find a part time job easier for me.

I just HOPE that I will be able to continue doing swaps, we shall see though.

To everyone going back to school at a "mature" age... Congratulations on doing this worthwhile pursuit. I had an AAS waaaaaay back in 1970 and at age 53 to 56 I went to San Jose State University taking 15-18 credit hours a semester (and some online classes, too). I was so proud of myself when I got my BS degree in Accounting in 2006. What a great experience. I learned from youth and adults, too. Many of my professors became my friends (same age, you know?).. But watch out for the kids who think you are their mother and should do their homework for them - in the form of group presentations. I wanted a good grade, so I took on more than was good for THEM. For ME, I had worked in the industry for years so I didn't have as much to learn. Their loss. Anyway. Enjoy this time. It's a lot of work but you will not be sorry, guaranteed. Yay school!!!

When we stop learning we start forgetting - good for any of you wanting to improve your skill-set.

Just wanted to post a picture of the great package I received from Lv2sew2011 - thank you for the great gift Donna.
I'm hopeful that I was able to adj the size of the photo so it comes through okay.
